I’m Samer Bandak, the founder of Best Interest Family Law Firm. I’ve dedicated my career to helping families navigate through difficult transitions. As a compassionate and strategic family law attorney, I bring years of experience in divorce, custody disputes, adoption, and more. My approach to every case is thoughtful and focused on finding solutions that prioritize my clients’ best interests, all while minimizing stress.
I believe in a client-first philosophy, which, combined with my deep understanding of family law, has made me a trusted advocate for individuals and families facing legal challenges. My goal is to help you achieve peace of mind so you can move forward with confidence, knowing that your future is in good hands.
Building Client Autonomy: The Cornerstone of My Approach
I believe my clients deserve to be active participants in shaping their legal path. That's why clear communication and transparency are paramount. I'll explain your options in detail, answer your questions openly, and empower you to make informed decisions.
Once you've made a choice, I become your fierce advocate. I have extensive experience litigating complex divorce cases, particularly those involving children and significant assets. However, I'm also a strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) when circumstances allow. Furthermore, I am trained in and practice collaborative law. Collaborative Divorce process is a settlement process that focuses on helping couples find their way to respectful resolutions for their families, creating an emotionally safe environment for the parties to express their interests and goals, and to negotiate and resolve disputes without going to court.
Accessibility
I pride myself in always being available to discuss your needs, even if that means touching base before or after business hours. I respond to all emails within 1-2 business days and will carve out time to talk via phone or zoom, whenever necessary.
Giving Back to the Community
Beyond the courtroom, I'm deeply committed to access to justice. I volunteer my time with Metro Volunteer Lawyers and have served on the board of Project Safeguard, an organization dedicated to protecting victims of gender-based violence.
My Greatest Achievements: Client Happiness
I have successfully litigated multi-year high net worth divorce cases and high stakes custody actions and while every positive outcome is rewarding, the most significant victories come from achieving a result that leaves my client feeling heard, validated, and secure.
Personal
I have a 2-year-old toddler at home, and she keeps me busy round the clock. My daughter has given me a new perspective on life, and I can more fully appreciate the type of work that I do. In the little free time that I have, I enjoy basketball, pickleball, and reading.
